Check before wiring
- Strictly 3.3 V logic; 5 V Arduino-style peripherals need level shifting.
- Isolation jumpers between the debugger and target must be set correctly for external power.
- Only 16 KB flash and 512 B RAM; heavy Arduino-style libraries will not fit.

- MSP430G2553 I/O is 3.3 V (VCC selectable); analog inputs A0-A7 map onto P1.0-P1.7.
- Hardware USCI: I2C uses SCL = P1.6 and SDA = P1.7; SPI uses P1.5 (SCLK), P1.6, P1.7; UART on P1.1/P1.2.
- Pins 16/17 are RST/SBWTDIO and TEST/SBWTCK (Spy-Bi-Wire debug); cross-jumper J3 selects on-board UART.
