Check before wiring
- BOOT0 is pulled low via solder bridge SB18; entering the system bootloader requires re-soldering SB18/SB19, and P2 pin 21 carries BOOT0 — a common accidental-conflict pin.
- ST-LINK/V2-A limits the target application supply to a 3 V minimum and cannot source more than ~100 mA over USB.
- CN2 (external SWD out) and the CN3 ST-LINK jumpers are mutually exclusive; leaving CN3 jumpered while wiring CN2 disturbs programming.
- Enabling STM32 readout protection on this board permanently prevents the target application from running — keep it disabled (UM1472).
