- SAMD21 GPIO is 3.3 V only; the UNO footprint does not imply 5 V tolerance.
- Legacy shields may need level shifting.
- DAC and analog references should be checked before precision measurements.

- SAMD21 I/O uses 3.3 V logic and is not 5 V tolerant.
- D13 is shared with the blue status LED; D44 drives the onboard WS2812 RGB LED.
- The separate programming header carries SWD and reset signals and should not be treated as general GPIO.
